9am-12pm

Every second Saturday of  the month

In the Bürgi, Richterswil

From September 12, 2026 there is a place in Richterswil, where your child can experience a slower start to the day.

In our Atelier, children can explore, create and play with, open-ended activities or rather, invitations. Some invitations will change each month, as we explore themes, and the children's interests, questions and explorations change.

Children 5 and older may be dropped off. Children under 5, must be accompanied by an adult. For accompanying adults, there is a corner to sit, relax and enjoy some light refreshments, in between exploring with your child.

The Experience

Please note, Slow Saturdays is not an art or crafts class. Although there are crafts-and artistic processes, the Atelier is a place for inquiry, open-ended creativity, questions and pure fun!

   You can expect:

• Open-ended invitations spaced out across the room. Children have time to explore an invitation, or circulate.

• Facilitators in English and German will guide and support children.

• In this space, a child can be creative, develop their independence and self-confidence to try new things and transform their ideas.

The Mini Atelierista Stamp Book

If Slow Saturdays, becomes a monthly tradition-then the Mini Atelierista Stamp Book is highly recommended. After four stamps in their stamp book, your child can come for a fifth session at a discount, and can choose a small gift from our treasure box.
